1. Data Sovereignty (Local-First Architecture)

Velacompress processes your media entirely within your browser via WebAssembly. No images are transferred, stored, or processed on Tajalys Inc. servers. Your intellectual property remains strictly confined to your device.

2. Billing Information

For license management purposes, we collect your email address, billing address (including postal code), and transaction history through our payment partner Stripe. This information is required to process your payment, issue an invoice, and deliver your license key. Tajalys Inc. never has access to your full card number or banking credentials—these are handled entirely by Stripe.

3. License Delivery

Your license key is delivered by email through Zoho Mail, our transactional email provider. To send this email, we share your email address with Zoho solely for the purpose of delivery. No other personal data is transmitted.

4. Analytics and Cookies

We only use anonymized, privacy-respecting analytics tools. We do not use any advertising tracking cookies. Local storage (localStorage) and IndexedDB are used exclusively to save your compression preferences and your license key—both remain on your device.

5. Subprocessors

To operate Velacompress, Tajalys Inc. relies on the following third-party providers, each of which processes a limited subset of data strictly necessary to deliver the service:

• Cloudflare Inc. (USA) — hosting, CDN, and the payment-handling worker
• Stripe Inc. (USA) — payment processing and invoicing
• Zoho Corporation — transactional email (license delivery)

We commit to notifying users of any material change to this list at least 30 days in advance.

6. Global Data Rights (GDPR, PIPEDA, Law 25, CCPA)

We believe privacy is a fundamental human right. Regardless of your jurisdiction—whether you are protected by the GDPR (Europe), Law 25 (Quebec), CCPA (California), or PIPEDA (Canada)—we extend the highest universal standard to all our users.
